Winter is here. It is December, there is snow on the ground, and high temperatures are not expected to escape the 20s all week. Therefore, it is officially time for me to ditch my lighter jackets in favor of my super-warm leather jacket.As I put it on for the first time this season, I will no doubt have this 1986 ditty from Martin Phillipps and The Chills. All albums from this wonderful New Zealand band are worth owning, and an excellent starting point is the greatest hits anthology Heavenly Pop Hits on Flying Nun Records.
